I'm Ava
A bit about me
I started my career selling SaaS, and my job was to figure out what prospects actually needed. That's where I got good at asking questions.
Eventually I wanted to fix the problems rather than just find them, so I moved into product design. At Visits, I led design for a product that lets pharmacists prescribe birth control, and built its core workflows and design system from scratch. Now I'm at Getlabs, acquired by Function Health, designing for everyone who makes a mobile lab visit happen.
In my day-to-day, I'm still asking questions until it's clear what's worth building.
Outside of work, I'm usually staying active, reading, writing, or listening to whatever new music I can find.
